Teqball. Never heard of it, but it's bloody brilliant

Recommended Posts

So this popped up on my YouTube recommendations.

Bit of football (the way you control the ball), bit of table tennis (the playing arena), bit of tennis (serving), bit of volleyball (three touches per team) and you get teqball.

Amazing skill here in last year's final.  Brazil v Hungary mixed doubles.

Anyone follow it?

That Hungarian guys serve is OP.

Later in the game the Brazilian woman gets really good at returning it.

But yes, his flexibility makes me since.

Watched the BT sport Saturday morning football show last year and Robbie Savage beat one of the best players at a little demonstration of it.

Edit : Just watched the video and I think it was the Hungarian dude.

Great sport. That recommendation came up on Youtube a few months ago, planned to watch 5 minutes to see what it was about and ended up watching the whole game. The little Brazilian guy who will not let anything go is incredible, he's like a Teqballing Rafa Nadal. I remember watching it at the time and thinking "I bet Ronaldinho would absolutely love this" then saw he was in the crowd for that match and actually has a table in his back garden.
