Looking at the Austria results I assumed there was a first corner pile up but the last few posts suggest it was more interesting than that.  Think I'll be watching the highlights tomorrow morning.

The difference between Ricciardos, who let's face it is being pushed aside (Horner's interview with DC and Mark was essentially "fuck it, Max won") and Hamiltons body language and tone of voice is light and day, Mercedes' engineer admitted to the fuck up and yet Lewis continued to complain.

Danny Ric was nowhere all weekend so a DNF doesn't really affect him. For the second time this season a strategy screwup has cost Lewis a potential race win so it's understandable why he's pissed. If he'd been leading and the car broke down I doubt he'd be complaining at all especially when Bottas also had a mechanical issue.

Mercedes got the pit strategy wrong, but it was a small window and the strategist explained and apologised for the error, they didn't get his engineer to do it for him, Lewis is happy to talk up the team when he's winning but he soon turns on them when they make a mistake. The rest of the race he complained about the tyres, something that affected Ricciardo, who was in a podium spot and looked fighty today, the tyres put him in the same situation as Hamilton but the difference in the interviews after the race (which was also after Hamilton had apparently stormed into the Mercedes garage) was really notable.

I love fighty Lewis, I hate bitchy Lewis. (And the same goes for any other driver) and there was a moment on the radio (after the second apology) where briefly Hamilton said he was chasing Vettel down, then the tyres started to misbehave again and he was asked to let them cool which resulted in him returning to complaining.
