If you could bring back any TV series from the dead?

I'd like Who Wants to be a Millionaire to come back. I like a quiz show and that was a favourite, though a big part of that was due to watching it with family and all getting involved. Can replace Chris Tarrant though because I never liked him.

The movie was ok but they went a little over board with the fan service but it was great to see what the characters were up to. The novels are well worth checking out too.

I really like the movie, it’s my joint favourite ‘movie continuation of a beloved TV series’ along with Serenity.

There is a lot of fan service but I love the characters especially the relationship with Keith and Veronica. He’s the parent I dream of being. Well him or Coach Taylor

Wonderfalls was pretty cool. A lassy who works in a gift shop at Niagra Falls (which ive been to IRL) when the stuffed animals etc start talking to her. Wackyness ensues. It sounds awful but i found it really charming.

I'd love to bring back ULTRAVIOLET.

Firat thing I thought when I saw the thread title. Wish it could have had  5 series, all leading up to the inevitable nuclear winter and trying to then stop the plague :)

Oh. And THAT theme music....

I'd be keen to see a Quantum Leap reboot, but Gabe already mentioned it, so I'll go for a Sliders reboot instead. The original show wasn't brilliant, but the notion of alternative realities provides endless storytelling opportunities, particularly if they can spend several episodes exploring more complex and darker storylines.

This is actually a really good shout. A good idea let down by some shoddy production values and acting.

They already remade The West Wing , its got gun fights and Kiefer Sutherland now! What else do you want?     SeaQuest could do with a reboot. Does anyone remember a 90s BBC show called Bugs starring Jesse Birdsall and Craig McLaughlin from Neighbours ? I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of that either.

I missed that Eldorado had already been mentioned in this thread! That's two mentions of Jesse Birdsall. Marcus Tandy was his name in Eldorado I can remember for some really weird reason, even though the show finished when I was about 9. What are the odds eh!? Jesse Birdsall may actually be reading this after serving his 200th Breakfast Mcmuffin of the morning and really appreciating all this!

I remember Crime Traveller. That had David Wicks from EastEnders and Chloe Arnett from Red Dwarf S7+8.  I remember Catterick too actually but not very well. It had Reece Shearsmith in it as " some nutter" who was after Vic and Bob coz they'd stolen his car or something.

Ultraviolet

Survivors (another reboot as the 70s one was brilliant and the reboot was "almost" there but fell at final hurdle and was quite shit)

Blakes 7 (A reboot obviously but based on the first 2 episodes as it was a horrible dystopian vision - basically a proper British Scifi show please!)

I'd prefer if they just remade it from series 3 onwards but without the shit plot arc (the Avon commanded Liberator deserved better).
