Forum hyperbolists talk about Mario Sunshine like it's a complete disaster, but it's just a bit unpolished in places. I imagine Nintendo could fix it up pretty nicely if they wanted.

yeap - a few tweaks to some levels where the camera made it difficult.  Hints for the blue coins.  Wide screen, HD - job done. SHOVE IT INTO MY EYES

Do we not think it's more likely that this means a Sunshine Kingdom (probably Delfino Plaza) coming as DLC rather than a Sunshine remaster?

Given how Odyssey ends I think I'm right and will accept your adulation now.

wet and inviting

Someones been reading EL James novels. :eyebrows:

Aren’t watermelons strongly associated with summertime in Japan? The Japanese equivalent of a bucket & spade and a knotted hankey. This may just be a bit of a coincidence.

Hope I’m wrong, of course.

Same deal at Game, but I suspect not as cheap there.

No Mario Odyssey on the GAME one for some reason and seeing as I’m about to buy a switch soon this deal is perfect. Mario and Yoshi ordered. Wooo!

The new Switch is now in the UK:

https://www.game.co.uk/en/nintendo-switch-neon-improved-battery-2647588

I can get 8% off at PC World through my staff discount program so waiting to see what the deals are like before I commit, but I guess by next weekend I’ll own one. Some questions:

1) Is it worth getting a Pro controller or extra joycons (with a grip)? We may play Mario Kart etc quite a bit.

2) Aside from Mario Kart which I’m apparently required to buy, what should I get? There are so many classics right now. Maybe just go nuts with that Amazon/Game firstparty games deal?

1. Depends if you're going to play the console more docked or handheld. If you're playing more docked, a pro controller is great, but some people prefer their hands apart with the Joy-cons. I'd say, see how you get on with those before committing to buy.

2. BotW, obviously.

Mario Odyssey.

Mario Maker 2.

Fire Emblem.

Mario and Rabbids.

Are all essential IMO. Hollow Knight too, if you haven't played it elsewhere.

Oh god yes.

I wouldn’t be that hyped for a whole sunshine remaster, I was never a big fan and I’d rather see a galaxy or, better yet, 3D world.

I think its probably a bit late for Odyssey DLC. The game is 2 years old. I'd think it's more likely either a remaster or an Odyssey sequel.

I really like the Pro controller.

Zelda, Mario Kart, Splatoon (maybe see if there's a 3 on the way), Mario Odyssey and Hollow Knight are all absolute essentials.

You guys were recommending Sky Force earlier. Which version, Anniversary or Reloaded?

Both are great. I slightly prefer Reloaded, but you can't go wrong with either.
