I've a Steam code for both Superhot VR and Moss if anyone is interested? Free obviously as long as you're a forum regular. :)

I'll take Moss please if it hasn't gone already!

Bought Beat Saber for the Rift tonight along with the Imagine Dragons song pack. Again, because it's awesome. But you know what, Beat Saber is arguably better on PSVR. Sure, The Rift has sharper visuals and better tracking, but the feel? PSVR's move controllers are a far far far better fit for this game than the Rift controllers. I was missing hits on the Rift I knew I wouldn't on PSVR.

^ yeah i went from playing beat saber on psvr to rift too and similarly struggled a bit at first with the shape of the controllers, but got used to it pretty quickly - you can get grips which make the controllers more like the moves - not tried them so don't know if they're any good mind. the rumble is better on psvr too. but the rift has the massive advantage of custom songs. i didn't notice much difference in visuals going to an original rift, think i prefered the psvr there because of the lack of god rays.

Dirt Rally VR ruined me. Sickest I ever got.

VR still needs to radically improve comfort to go truely mass market.

This small device that overloads part of the vestibular system to eliminate motion sickness was reported a couple of years ago, don't know if anything more came of it but it definitely looked promising.

edit - more info here, looks like it definitely works but the company isn't targeting the home vr market. He mentions that you can make one yourself but it sounds a bit clunky.

-Efficacy is incredible. If you've ever seen a cochlear implant patient hear for the first time, that's how severe motion sickness suffers react wearing OtoTech - they know how sick they're supposed to get and it is a completely novel experience for them not to get woozy during a turn for the first time.

btw one of the VR camera settings in Dirt Rally makes a massive difference to comfort. I seem to remember it's the one that allows the car interior to pitch and roll relative to your position rather than remaining fixed was what caused trouble, might have been on by default too.

I held off getting Superhot VR as I was wanting Pistolwhip to drop in price, but the Humble Bundle was too good to pass on. Well, it’s incredible! Very different from the pancake version too so it’s a completely different experience.

Moss is really nice too, looks absolutely stunning.

It's great they're bundled, as they both absolutely depend on VR to work, but are completely different experiences from one another, but equally superb. A fantastic advert for HMDs :)

Yeah, Space Pirate Trainer, Budget Cuts and Moss are very different sold cold classic VR experiences.

And Super Hot is a lovely demo of VR, only ruined for me by a single piece of utterly shitty game design and given most people disagree with me on that one, pretty much make it 4.

That it's basically a puzzle game not an action game, it's about working out how to get through a level.

But if you die it puts you back 5 or 6 levels.

So you have to tediously repeat something you know damn well how to do for 5 minutes just to get back to where you were to have another try. Which is only made worse if you're annoyed by this and make mistakes and end up not breezing through the bit you should breeze through because you get sloppy.

I understand the non-VR one might work differently.

Ah yeah, that is irritating I agree. You should have a rewind feature you can enable, I reckon. Penalise the player for using it, fine, but put it in there.

That'd be work, or just go scene by scene.

Most people don't seem to mind so consider it a freebie in the bundle and be amazed, the actual experience is unlike everything else.

But it was enough I've never got beyond what I'd say is 15 minutes of actual gameplay in.
