  1. (Post from April 2019) So there was a post about this in the PS4 thread, but this is absolutely massive news so it definitely needs its own thread! Mark Cerny has talked to WIRED about Sony's next gen machine, leading to some fascinating details and discussion points. https://www.wired.com/story/exclusive-sony-next-gen-console/ A few headlines: - Revolution not evolution. - Will have a solid state drive with bandwidth faster than any SSD in any current PC. - The SSD will transform how quickly data can be streamed and will improve load tim
  2. Let's see how the land lies in rllmuk's next generation.
  3. https://balanwonderworld.square-enix-games.com/en-gb/main/ This video includes their introduction with English subtitles, as well as the trailer: Edit: Here's the longer version, from the official site And the trailer alone: Looks like a very traditional platformer, with character design that fortunately looks a lot more NiGHTS than Blinx. In particular, those bosses look extremely NiGHTS-y - not just their character designs, but also their attacks (spike balls and flames) remind
  4. A lot there very reminiscent of FF14, the medieval artstyle, mentions of the Mothercrystal, calling summons Eikons, and so on that I thought it was related or another MMO for a minute. No release date though, there's typically been a really long time between reveal and release for FF, with none coming in at under uh, four years, so let's hope this thread isn't still going in 2024.
  5. This was announced at Gamescom earlier and is due to release next year. I thought the first game was very atmospheric and had a lot of potential but felt disappointingly short. Hopefully the developers have got a bit more money and manpower behind them this time to make something more elaborate. The trailer, with its various locations and new gameplay elements, suggests something a bit more substantial, at least. One to watch.
  6. Just announced on the DC Fandome event: Edit: Youtube versions:
  7. Kickstarter campaign set to launch on July 27. https://www.gematsu.com/2020/07/suikoden-creators-announce-rpg-eiyuden-chronicle-hundred-heroes-for-ps5-xbox-series-x-switch-and-pc
  8. After strange disappearances hit Tokyo’s population, it’s up to you to uncover the source and purge the city of a strange, new evil. Armed with your own mysterious abilities, you will face down the occult, unravel conspiracy theories and experience urban legends like never before. Don’t fear the unknown. Attack it. 9. We have lots of price speculation, and obviously we don't know what the target price is yet. We also have lots of "no-one will buy it if it's more than..." So why not run a poll? First question - choose all that apply - so if you'd spend up to £500, that'd be £300, £350, £400, £450, £500. Second and third questions are just for kicks - can the collective wisdom of Rllmuk identify the price these two things ship at later this year?
  10. Little Devil Inside is a 3D action RPG from Korean developer Neostream. The game originally came to light back in 2015 as a 'successful' Kickstarter project funded by over 5000 various backers for a total of over £250k. These backers funded a combination of Steam, PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game with an expected digital release of June 2016. A Wii U stretch goal was also reached. Three years go by with little in terms of updates and then yesterday the game appears at the PS5 event and the developers post an update saying the game is now a PS5 exclusive and they are delighted
