  1. Steam early access available now... Here's the blurb and here's a video... First and foremost, we’re building a FUN racing game with PERSONALITY. It’s all about the stuff that really matters: varied tracks, cool cars, and the defining once-in-the-lifetime moments that can be achieved only with true-to-life physics simulation. If you’re familiar with the original FlatOut experience, you already know what we’re aiming at: exhilarating racing action with sophisticated physics and damage modeling, only this time we’re upping the ante on almost every front. This is the game we envisioned way
  2. Cause no-one seems to bother to make a proper thread and/or update the ones in existence, and since the original Xbox Psychonauts is one of my all-time favourite games, I'm making a thread myself. Psychonauts 2 is the long awaited sequel to the cult classic Psychonauts, which was an awesome 3D action-platformer that saw players litterally dive into the minds of different people, leading to a colourful and insane world in which the imagination of the creators seemed to be the only limitation. The first game came out in 2005, so it's been over 15 years since this incredibly uniq
  3. Microsoft's Reward scheme. It's alright. In about 15 months I've made just over £240 from it and I've not been doing it religiously. It's not the gravy train it once was, but it's still a simple way to get Xbox credit in return for a good use of your time while sitting on the toilet, a tenner a month or so is easy enough to attain. Interested? Of course you are! Go here https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/rewards sign up using the MS login you use for your Xbox, follow the instructions. Click on everything available for points under https://account.microsoft.com/rewards/ and also do th
  4. Looks like there's a sequel coming in August...
  5. Thought this deserved its own topic as it's getting rather good reviews and is out tomorrow. It's a several hours long walking simulator, which seems like the perfect antidote to the lengthy epics we've been getting over the past few months. The hook of the game seems to be a more morbid Gone Home. You play as a girl returning to her family home and exploring the rooms of her now long-dead relatives. So far, so derivative. But what sets it apart is that you play as a participant in each family member's death via flashbacks. While most reviews have wisely steered clear of spoiling t

Posting from my phone, will format things later and add the usual instructions and disclaimers... https://invisioncommunity.co.uk/check-out-whats-free-on-prime-gaming-may-2021/ When they're released, you can find more details at https://gaming.amazon.com/ - I'll give this thread another bump when I know that they're available. Install instructions (please note step 5):
  9. Here's a launch trailer. Here's a primer / beginners guide by yours truly! Here's a more advanced guide for when you're a bit further: ______________________________________________________________________________________ Original post from nearly two years ago! So yeah, this came out on the day of the VGAs and no one seemed to notice... Considering I'm just playing Transistor again (never finished it, started from the beginning), I'm actually quite hyped to see what they can craf

  13. Time to split away from the main thread I think (so the cryers don't cry when the tweaking talk begins). 15. Just get 1 & 3. They are ace though, top play on show. 2 is a complete mess though. Link me to that AUS ranbat slag!?!
  16. Discord Server I reckon Valve could well start to wrap up the PC game publishing market over the next couple of years. I can't be arsed to buy PC games any more because they cost a bit too much and I just don't generally have time. I don't bother to look at the PC shelf in Game any more. But I've bought 3 games off Steam in the last 4 or 5 months (Sin Eps, Darwinia, X3:Reunion), for which the developers probably got more money than they would from a box anyway. I've hardly played them either, because of the time thing but I don't mind buying something for $20 which I'll just ha
  17. Football with cars! I'm sure I've seen this tried a few times but this looks like it works - I predict this is going to be massive! It's certainly very fun to watch. PSN owners get it free and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to get the Steam version too.
  18. Coming Spring 2016 to Playstation 4, Xbone and PC. It's apparently going to be the final Dark Souls game and it just looks like it may well be set in Lordran.
  19. First YAY Xbox. Second oh thank fuck it looks live they;ve dropped the "real world" military vibe of it and gone more to the classsic era.

    Narita Boy

waaaaa I'm a bit bemused by getting a trailer to hype me up like that (I want the soundtrack! I want the game!) and there's nowhere to actually send my money yet. Maybe this is an EXCLUSIVE.
  21. Just announced, coming to PS4, Xbox and Pc in 2018.

    Disco Elysium

So Disco Elysium has finally got a release date. Isometric urban fantasy/new weird detective RPG. OCTOBER 15TH!!! Devs are saying it'll be 60+ hours of sprawling isometric role playing goodness. I won't lie to you, I'm pretty excited by this. There's been an absolute deluge of isometric RPGs these last few years but this one looks pretty original.
