Just noticed that the three mini episodes are in UK Netflix. Not watched them yet, but I have seen & liked the first episode of S2. It’s not perfect, but then what is.

He had a good run at pulling it back in the last quarter, kinda repaid the faith put in him, even if they didn’t quite pull it off. That could have been a fantastic comeback. Good game mostly by the Chargers, although they nearly let it slip away.

Typically Sky are showing the Ravens/Chargers on Sky Sports Mix, their free channel, but not Bears/Eagles. #cmonbears

    Do people still use DVDs?

My parents still buy DVD’s. My Dad won’t upgrade to Blu-ray as he has a DVD/HDD recorder combo and doesn’t want to get rid I still buy Blu-ray’s, even though Netflix/Now TV and other downloads are more convenient. Not as many as I used to, but for the Marvel & Star Wars series, it’s nice to see all the cases lined up.

  12. Oh my, this looks very pretty. Son has started it on the very easy difficulty, I take it that if I play on my account I can have a separate save?

Your old arcade and game shop hangouts

Thats the one, Leisure Investments, with a pale green & gold paint job. I also remember the shop in Tonbridge Road, it was one of the few that did Betamax rentals (never knew they had cabs in a back room though) there was also one near the Barming crossroads and Terrys video rental shop in Mid Kent Shopping Centre, Allington. That was the first place I saw a PC Engine. All gone now

Your old arcade and game shop hangouts

Just remembered that Maidstone used to have a few game shops. My Dad bought an Amiga 500+ from the ‘serious’ place, that wouldn’t have anything to do with consoles. Boots, John Menzies & Smiths had games sections during the Spectrum/Amstrad/C64 years, and I bought my Gameboy with Tetris & Mario from Boots. There was also a couple of import type places when the Megadrive/SNES took hold. All gone now with only Game left. I’m sure there were others (we ended up with two Games at one point when they took someone over). Part of the joy was just going in for mooch and seeing what was out. Great days
