Thought we where pretty good in the first half, especially as Leicester sat back. Really liked seeing Tierney and Bellerin getting forward more too. Second half we were poor though. Overall just not enough creativity in midfield. We desperately need an attacking midfielder.

If he wasn’t so injury prone it wouldn’t be the worst idea. Would prefer Ramsey back though, think he’d thrive under Arteta.

I know nothing about Aouar other than the fact he looked really good in Lyon’s Champions League run last season (but so did Moussa Dembele). We do need a creative midfielder (if Ozil is no longer an option), but I can see why the club is being cautious after overpaying for Pepe. Im just surprised Draxler hasn’t been mentioned...

Not unexpected result last night, frustrating for sure though. Liverpool had the ball a lot (especially in the first half), but we defended well and had a decent game plan. We were in it until the very end when Liverpool's 3rd goal went in. Losing away to the Champions is not the end of the world though. It's gonna take a few more transfer windows for Arteta to get the players he needs in I think. Midfield is poor and I still cannot believe we paid a club record fee for Pepe. I don't think it's true that teams can get at our defense anymore though. We've made some sensible buys in
  5. That was something Lynch made up and was not in the novel so it's unlikely to be in the new movie.
  6. The 1st half of the 1984 version of Dune is excellent: great soundtrack, performances and amazing visuals. Just completely falls apart in the second half, which was probably due to studio interference TBH. Also it doesn't seem like David Lunch is the best at directing action scenes and the less said about the Weirding Modules the better! Visually the new one isn't as striking, but going on the directors track record at directing/pulling together big budget movies it will probably be a better movie. I'm just blown away that this got made and ended up with such a good director at the
  7. Jesus Christ people are picky, this looks and will probably be amazing. Denis Villeneuve is one of the best directors out there and all of his stuff that I've seen has been excellent. This is split into 2 parts right? So this is just the first half of the first book?

We definitely needed midfield creativity and I'm sure Willian will be fine over the next year or two, but it's really depressing that we are now this short term agent driven club when it comes to signings. There seems to be zero forethought and my guess is it will stay this way for a while. Just comparing us to Leicester, who I'm guessing have less pull and money than us, they managed to buy both Maddison and Tielemans in the past few years. These seem like exactly the profile of players we should be getting into our midfield.

Fantastic win! I was feeling like this was karma for all the big games where we've been on the wrong end of referring decisions, had key players injured or played well for parts of the game only to be beaten by the opposing team. Then I realised we finally have a coach who can manage games and get the best out of players and this was a thoroughly deserved win! I really hope this means Arteta can bring in the players he needs this summer (and not just a bunch of of Kia Joorabchian's clients).

So Transfer window's open. What's the odds we'll bring Coutinho in on a loan if we win the FA Cup? Also, any change we can re-sign Ramsey?

God our back 3 are shit. Why Arteta didn't play Holding instead of Kolasinac is beyond me. You just knew that sucker punch was coming but TBH we were lucky to not be 2-3 goals down with some of the defensive giveaways in the first half. On a more positive note, Mourinho looks to be instilling his usual joyless defensive football at Spurs. I can't believe Kane and Son will want to stay on if he stays as manager.

If we sign Willian this summer I think the we need to start worrying.

We went from Wenger's total control to being Super Agent playthings in the blink of an eye. I guess this is what happens when the Owner gives zero fucks about the club. I really hope that Arteta can work miracles over the summer but we do not have a functioning midfield and Ceballos is not the answer. If we lose Aubameyang this summer we might be looking at a relegation battle next year...

On the plus side Luiz won't be able to play the next couple of games.
  15. I didn't hate Season 2, but it wasn't as good as the first season for sure. Maybe too early to say how it will pan out, but the first episode of season 3 was fantastic. Visually stunning and Aaron Paul is great. More Futureworld than Westworld
