Anyone else keep a "Top 20 Games Of All Time" List?

I don't keep a list but I guess I do have some sort of mental image of my favourites, and when a new game really grabs me I tend to compare it to some of those. I'm playing Prey currently and think it's amazing, and I find myself weighing the experience against nostalgic memories of playing System Shock 2 and Deus Ex for the first time. I only write a list when there's a vote here on rllmuk, but I always find it difficult to rank the games against each other. Plus there's so many great titles you have to leave out, i always regret something in my votes after posting.

    Overload - Descent successor

Curious about this, I played an early version and it was quite good, definitely interested to see how the full product stacks up. Great to see this style of game is back.
  4. The PC/Mac version works perfectly with a controller. I would buy the PS4 version, as the Radeon HD 5750 is a bit slow/outdated for Divinity OS: Enhanced, the PS4 Pro will surely be a much better experience framerate-wise.

The Official Rllmuk Awards 2017 - Voting CLOSED

Game of the Year A1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild "No comment necessary really. The best Zelda, and just generally one of the best games." A2. Prey "I think I like this better than System Shock 2." A3. Divinity: Original Sin 2 "I've had some really annoying technical issues with this, but it builds nicely on the excellent mechanics of the first game, and fixes a few of its shortcomings." A4. Nex Machina "My favourite traditional twin stick shooter." A5. Superflight "Probably wouldn't have made it onto my list if I'd played more of 2017's most prominent releases, but it's a pretty fun little timewaster." Most Disappointing Game of the Year Z1. Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 "Had not played PES since 2004 or so. I'm impressed that the Master League mode is still as shit as it was back then." Z2. Z3. Z4. Z5. Sound Design of the Year S1. Starcraft 2 - Official Thread

Heads up for thos who already owned The Wings of Liberty Campaign - you can redeem the Heart of the Swarm campaign for free until 8th December.
  9. Yeah, chat to (or pickpocket) anyone basically and see what they've got. Once you leave Fort Joy you'll meet people with loads of skillbooks to sell! Also, if you've got an elf in your party, e.g. Sebille, eating limbs can occasionally grant a new skill.

What's on your Q4 'to play' list?

Trying to restrict myself from buying too much and focus more on The Backlog. As far as 2017 releases are concerned my main priorities for Q4 will probably be: Breath of the Wild DLC 1 and 2 (if I finish the main game this year) Divinity: Original Sin 2 (playing it now but it's going to take ages to get through) Prey A Hat in Time Steamworld Dig 2 Wish I could play: Super Mario Odyssey... no Switch for me until next year at the earliest. When BOTW was released, I bought a preowned Wii U instead and am taking my time enjoying the best games on the system.

    Divinity: Original Sin

Only a few hours in but I'm already liking it more than the first one. It feels more like a proper singleplayer RPG - no weird dialogues where you are basically arguing with yourself. The writing and characters in general seem more interesting here, I felt the first game was lacking in that regard.

    Resident Evil 4 HD pack

It'll be a glorious day when the textures are done for all chapters. What they've achieved so far is amazing and puts Capcom's own updated textures to shame.
