  1. They have Mythos Tales there for £10 and I was thinking of getting Consulting Detective to play with a couple of friends. Has anyone played Mythos Tales? How does it stack up against CD, which I've heard is supposed to be very good.
  2. I'm going to steal this for one of my work quizzes if that's alright?
  3. I did. Well, I had it crash again at the same point a second time, despite selecting different starting characters and choosing a different location. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it's fine now and could progress past the tutorial. Bit gutted as one of my first starting characters had the same name as one of my cats (Calliope) but the names change each time you start it and she's just called Karen or something now.
  4. Crashed on the loading screen for me after finishing the main tutorial area. No save point so right back to the beginning. As someone with 20 years of game testing under my belt this is fucking unacceptable. So do I uninstall the game and pretend it doesn't exist or start again and hope it can't be recreated? Shame as I loved the first one and there's probably a cracking game in here, but what a dreadful first impression.
  5. I watched this for something like the fiftieth time a few days ago and amazingly noticed that Sarah has a copy of the very old Games Workshop Judge Dredd board game on her shelf (not my screen grab). Her bedroom's amazing.

Someone's bagsied it I'm afraid. If it falls through you're next in line. Thanks.

  8. This is amazing, genuinely terrifying. Though I'm playing in the dark, alone, in my flat which is in the basement of a late-Victorian children's home, and I'm sure that helps. Chapter Four was insane. Everyone should check this out either now if you can, or when it's fully released next month.
  9. Is Rare Replay a bit like NES Remix then? Because if so, amazing.
  10. You don't. I only had the tutorial available in the 60 minute trial but as soon as I upgraded the main game was available to start. Seems like the trial only has the tutorial.
  11. Is anyone playing Elite: Dangerous through Early Access? Seems amazing so far. 1080p and 60fps, though I'm still on the tutorials and I'm not sure how it will hold up with massive space stations. Controls seem good, click right stick to switch to virtual cockpit, click again back to cockpit controls. Seems to run better than it did on my mate's £500 PC. Would love to get into this enough to justify the Elite Controller.
  12. Bit of a bump but I didn't want to start a new topic for it and I don't think there is one, has anyone read/bought Clive Barker's The Scarlet Gospels yet? This ends his Cenobite 'saga', supposedly, but fingers crossed it's a wonderful return to horror for him.
  13. I bought Battle of the Halji with Christmas money when I was ten after seeing it advertised in White Dwarf (1987!) but had to take it back because it was too complicated for me.

  15. Loving this so far but I've barely scratched the surface of it. I wouldn't even have minded having to pay £40 for it. It feels like the most proper RPG-ey console game I've played in ages. Quick question, I've got three Tyrannical Lockboxes. Is there any way to open them without buying the keys, or should I just buy the keys (with real money)?
