  1. Hands up if like me you’ve just had a quick check on your Amazon order to put your mind at rest?
  2. Is there a possibility that Microsoft could buy Sega and Ferrari and we could be looking at Outrun 3?
  3. Just had the following from Amazon... Hello, The Xbox Series X will be available for pre-order on Amazon.co.uk tomorrow after 8:00 am BST. The Xbox Series S, controllers and other accessories will also become available for pre-order throughout the day. Stock is limited and we expect demand to be high. Seems like it's only the X that's going up for pre-order at 8am and people wanting an S will need to keep checking. That's a bit nasty.

  5. I draw the line at putting a fridge in there. I’d be fatter than I already am and at least walking up and downstairs now and again burns off a few calories.
  6. I think there have been lots of really good games this generation but when I’m rocking in my chair and dribbling down my front in an old people’s home at some point in the future, there’s really only going to be the following that I think of... 1. Destiny - By far the most fun I’ve had playing with friends online. Destiny 2 never did it for me, but I just couldn’t get enough of the original. Such great times. 2. Zelda BotW - IMO the best game I’ve ever played in the approximately 35 years I’ve been play computer and video games.
  7. So pleased I had the foresight to ensure I had a suitable place for the new consoles when I bought the furniture for my office / den earlier this year. Loads of room on the top next to the TV for both a PS5 and Series X with no worries about airflow...
  8. I’ve not had a Playstation or an Xbox in the house for well over a year now. The reason I’m buying both of the new consoles on release is so that I can play CyberPunk, Demon Souls, Last of Us 2, Ghosts of Tsushima, Control and that skateboarding game, Session. Best launch line up ever for me and along with GamePass will easily keep me going until some new stuff arrives.
  9. Headsets up now on Amazon... PlayStation 5 PULSE 3D Wireless Headset https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08H94H78M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2.YyFbZY61JRS
  10. Got a pre-order in now for both full fat and digital. Was definitely wanting digital but those game prices are making me wonder what to do.
  11. I sold my PS4 Pro about 18 months ago and so the main reason I’m buying mine at the moment is to play The Last of Us 2. That will play won’t it?
  12. I've got one on Amazon but just realised that it's the full fat version and not the digital that I wanted. Anyone got a link for the digital version?
  13. Both. Digital PS5 and a Series X (would have bought a digital only Series X too if there was one). I’d figured on them both costing £500 each at least up until we found out the prices and so they both feel like a bit of a bargain. I’ll buy them both eventually anyway and almost certainly before either gets a price drop and so I might as well go in at launch for that Day 1 excitement.
  14. They're not daft. They've got to get as many out of the door in the UK as they can before the end of December when Covid and Brexit ensure that no fucker in the UK can actually afford to buy one.
  15. Must have literally only just gone out of stock as I ordered one about 3 minutes ago. £50 for a fancy clock for my desk. I must be mental.
  16. While I can’t deny that the power (and price) of these new graphics cards excites the inner nerd in me to some degree, being able to play the next Last of Us, Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption and Horizon games etc etc on day one rather than 2 years later means far more to me than extra fps or graphical shininess. For that reason the consoles will be my priority again this generation.
  17. Have the figures for this been published anywhere yet? I'm intrigued as to how well or not this has done compared to both expectations and a normal release.
  18. I don’t particularly care what the reviews have to say...when I can pay £20ish to watch this at home then I’m definitely in, no questions. But as much as I love Heath Ledger playing the Joker, Christopher Nolan hasn’t made a single film that’s even close to risking death to see so he needs to make the best of the new landscape he’s operating within IMO.
  19. Include a little Sega Ashtray like they all have in Japanese arcades and I'm 100% in.
