Fallout 76 - Prepare Your GaaS Masks

Or Wow, a whole new Fallout world to explore. Share the world with friends Yay, i'm always online (I don't get why this is an issue in 2018) You can turn off multiplayer Interesting new card based perk system that means multiplayer won't be unbalanced. The crafting and base building might actually be good this time. Still not going to be more than a 76 score on metacritic though.

    Red Dead Redemption 2

I agree with all this being able to lose the hud etc. I just wish my sense of direction in games was as good as real life.

    Maniac

I really enjoyed this. It's well out there and I don't think you are really meant to understand exactly what its all about. The characters really make it.

Fallout 76 - Prepare Your GaaS Masks

No, I don't agree and I think that's why a lot of Fallout fans have their knickers in a twist, it's not the next Fallout game otherwise it would be called Fallout 5. It's just a spin off that has come out years before we would expect to see a proper Fallout. Just calm down everybody, normal Fallout service will resume in a few years!
  11. Didn't you have to get a taxi back to the start or something? It was a bit of a pain but frankly I don't remember dying that much, you could always play it on easy. They seemed to lose a lot of the weight of the cars, it used to be fun trying to control the back ends around the corners but they went all Saints Row with it.

Fallout 76 - Prepare Your GaaS Masks

Well I have played Rust for hours and there is no storyline or quests in that, you are motivated by trying to survive and then trying to get the best gear and a nice base. Other games give you a backstory and that's it. Imagination can be enough, it's just a lot of gamers need to have their hands held. I felt that Fallout 4 just didn't really have any direction or challenge, The whole story was rubbish and it didn't matter what you did or who you helped it would always have the same outcome in the end. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it, but the whole base building thing was pointless. Now maybe it will have it's purpose.

Fallout 76 - Prepare Your GaaS Masks

I really don't think it's going to be that sort of game, it's not being sold as a mmo and nor is it being sold as an rpg. It's a survival game. It's not going to be for everyone, if you need full on storyline stuff then just walk away, if you enjoy making your own story then maybe it is. You do know you can completely turn off multiplayer right?

Fallout 4 - VR Coming Soon

One thing I found in non-VR Fallout 4 was the lack of being scared, I remember in old fallout games turning around as I was too scared to go into certain areas early on or getting into battles that just could not be won. Get your suit on in this and you are practically invincible.
