    mother! - Darren Aronofsky

I'm going to sound like a right numpty here, but which bit was this? (Spoiler tags probably wise). Thanks!

Games you think aren't as bad as people say.

Remember Me https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remember_Me_(video_game)#Reception seems to get whined about a fair bit but for my sins I really like it, a few iffy checkpoint locations aside. Maybe Alice: Madness Returns too https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice:_Madness_Returns but that does seem to have gained a deservedly cult following I guess on both of those the world it put you in was so well realised and designed that I was able to look past some of the rougher edges!

Urgh, so close to buying one, went into GAME this morning armed with £22.50 worth of tat to trade in against their FC4/Last of Us bundle but couldn't quite bring myself to do it. I feel like an idiot because I love those two games but want Dragon Age too, which would take it up to £400, a number which makes me feel a little giddy! I asked if they could do any bundle deal including that but not unreasonably they said no. The guy suggested waiting until the weekend as the bundles are due to change anyway. tl;dr - someone talk me into buying one please

Games you have an emotional bond with

Some patterns emerging here PSO DC - first online game I ever played, had to use a 10 metre extension cable so i reach the phone socket downstairs which led to some amazing arguments with my parents. I actually loved the game offline too; graphics, gameplay *that* music and just fell in love with it and dare I say had a little bit of affection for my Level 100-something Hunewearl called Lucy. But online was where it really was at; fascinating how it represented both the best and worst of the online experience. Such great memories though and I really wish I'd kept in touch with the people I met (probably some of them on here I suspect!) FFVII - like nothing I'd played before. Looked amazing, sounded amazing, story/characters I actually cared about. Alice: Madness Returns. Played it 4 times to completion across PS3/360 . Just such a remarkable world to be thanks to the incredible art design, often very surreal. The Cardbridge level and Wonderland are just such nice places to be. Again, another game with a story and characters I cared about.

    Doctor Who

I enjoyed watching it. That's what matters in the end. Matt Smith was great, albeit nearly upstaged by Jenna Coleman's ass a couple of times. I hope Peter Capaldi doesn't play it too intense.

    Peter O'Toole dies, aged 81

Shame - really cool guy, amazing in so many things. Was lucky enough to see him on stage back in the early 90's and he totally stole the show. RIP man.

Dark Souls II - Release: March 2014

Is invading working for anyone? I'm just getting an error code At first I thought it was because I was using my character from the earlier beta test but it's doing it when I re-roll too.

    Playstation Vita

Ah yes, cheers, I had seem them around and figured they'd come into play at some point. The back-tracking isn't a big deal, but when you just want to get to the next bit of eye-candy and then it throws a random battle at you too I could imagine it getting a little annoying. I'm also playing as Momohime, on normal, I've only died once in four or so hours - (which says more about how easy it is on normal than my skills) so I'm probably going to jack it up to Hard as it feels like there's a deeper game than my current button bashing. Enjoying it a lot though - Momohime whizzes around the screen beautifully and all the little details like the animations when you eat - it's all good.

Vita + Murumasa Rebirth + Pair of noise cancelling headphones = absolute life saver when stuck on a noisy Eurostar earlier today. Loving Muramasa, lovely to look at, god knows what's going on story wise as spending most of the time gawping at the scenery. Am I being thick or is there no fast travel though?

Cheers, I'll give it a go; no harm in trying.

So, uh, I now own two Vita's... Vita One from Epcotman, which unfortunately developed a fault on the left thumbstick after my daughter "gave it a wash" last week. (Sorry Epcotman). Obviously leaving me no choice whatsoever other than to take advantage of the Argos deal today. The good news being Vita One is still good for the alarming number of PS1 games I've picked up leaving Vita Two for actual Vita titles and movies/music. Well, that's how I'm rationalising it anyway

Just thought I'd mention Argos are doing a 3G Vita with Killzone, 8gb card and Virtua Tennis 4 for £139, which seems pretty decent to me(?)

Yeah, meant to add, looked great I thought; especially once I'd figured the torch out, running through the tunnel looked rather nice.
