  1. Roy Hodgson - "I need 4 or 5 players in the window and better quality than frees and loans can give you" Palace - "Here's Cenk Tosun on loan, and once he's injured and can't play the next match against host parent club, let's send another first team striker on loan" As for today's game we literally gifted Sheffield United the points, they weren't up to much (hadn't even had a shot on target when our keeper dropped it in his own net) and similar to several teams we have played this season were there for the taking if we could only score some goals, which we can't (22 goals in 25 league games now!) Our final run in isn't the greatest, hoping we pick some points up in the next month or so to calm the devil on my shoulder that is insisting we are going down.
  2. The Hell are back with a new EP
  3. If you want spicy crisps, Blair's Death Rain are a decent option (US Import), usually available on spicy foods websites and occasionally Amazon.
  4. Palace doing a Palace and following up a hard fought draw at the Etihad with a zero shots on target, zero corners performance against Southampton. Southampton were decent enough, but far from the best side we'd played this season, I think we will struggle to put kn a worse performance this season. Zaha apparently poked Ward-Prowse in the face at half-time, Zaha needs to grow the fuck up. (Ward-Prowse is a snidey cunt still)
  5. He's got the hump because he isn't getting his move, second half of last season when he came back from his injury and it was consistent brilliance game after game, but this year you can't even blame the 3 men marking him every game or the rotational fouling for his drop in form, he has a habit of being given the ball in the corner and stopping before trying to take his man/men on, he's having minimal success with this tactic and it really breaks up the rhythm of any attack. He's been brilliant over the course of his Palace career but it's sadly time to send him on his way, the issue being that nobody is likely to meet Steve Parish's valuation.
  6. Well that was a terrible, then excellent final 8 minutes...
  7. You jinxed us! To be fair, we'd been getting away with daylight robbery until then, Palace being Palace if 3-0 up at the Etihad with 5 minutes to go I'd take a draw if offered. Re. the VAR, it's so tough to know, I would have chalked it down to one of those things if given but I think that's a symptom of the inconsistency/lack of clarity on the rule itself.
  8. In other Palace V Arsenal news, some Palace fans nicked DT from Arsenal Fans TV's hat when we went to the Emirates earlier this season, and it was presented proudly on display in the Holmesdale stand today.
  9. Faking a head injury isn't diving, Palace dive, Palace waste time, we aren't morally superior, my "poor little Palace" was a reference to your condescending "be grateful for your point." This can't go anywhere really, best we agree to disagree.
  10. Absolute garbage, the level of head injury fakes and time wasting was embarrassing from Arsenal, the rest of your post is irrelevant whataboutery. But I suppose poor little Palace should just be so glad that big old Arsenal deemed us worthy to gift a point...
  11. Wishing the Arsenal players a speedy recovery from all their many, serious head injuries that required lying on the ground at times when (coincidentally) Palace were putting a good rhythm together.
  12. At Palace our cats are made of butter.
  13. The most Palace thing at this point would be to concede.
  14. I don't have the benefit of TV replays (at the game), but Arsenal's shithousery seems worse than Palace's.
  15. It would seem Arsenal are doing enough diving for everyone.

  17. We (Palace) deserved nothing from that game and were utterly dreadful, that must make the VAR element even more galling from a Norwich perspective.
  18. Palace do the double over West Ham via an outrageously good late goal by Jordan Ayew. My kids are going to have an unhealthy view of life as a Palace fan after this year, might not renew the season tickets and let then exit on a high!
  19. Palace's 2020 calendar has Zaha as January, almost as if it putting him in later in the year would be risky...
  20. He's not been overly kind about you over the years, I cant see it happening myself. As sad as I will be to lose him, we need to get on and build a less one dimensional team (and get some younger players in the team), given the healthy points position we are in (which will hopefully be better by mid-January), this might be the least risky time to let go, we can get a loan or two in to get through the rest of the season with a well planned rebuild in the summer.
