Grouvee does this, they use GBs database as well.

I haven't listened to any of the GotY stuff yet but having caught up with the Beastcast I'm finding Abby really starts to grate when she's part of the discussion. She seems to have adopted Alex's ridiculous 'wowwwwwww's and could do with reining it in a bit in general and going back in the booth.

I know GB got a lot of flak in here for talking about Destiny a lot but to expect them not to talk about it on release is ridiculous!

    GAME Announce new loyalty scheme!

In case we needed any more proof of GAMEs money grabbing desperation I can confirm that one their main stores in Glasgow is selling fidget spinners!

    Trainspotting 2

Dang I thought an update to the thread might have been that it was finally out but no it looks like 23rd June is the release date. Been looking forward to seeing it for months now having missed its short stint in the cinema.

As an addendum to this, this weeks Beastcast comes with an Austin Walker warning - HAH!

Any Taken King noobs around (PS4)?

I've only really been playing solo so far so I'm up for joining up with people here. My tag is souldoubt83

Rainbow Six Siege - Grim Sky - Free & Live Now.

I downloaded this on the PS4 and PC this weekend, I've played through the situations a bit on both and quite enjoyed it. What's the best platform to go for and will the £15 version be good enough?

There's been so many times when listening to the Beastcast lately when I've been like "OH! These people can be so super tedious with their deep dives and discussions", yet I still find myself tuning in every week Vinnie needs to get better at steering the conversations on topic as their chemistry and banter just isn't engaging or enlightening when they veer off topic or into these random 'bits' with the funny voices. It's good for a roundup of news etc but I agree the analysis is often extremely dry and neither of them are particularly funny apart from maybe Jeff.

Kinda.. Brad covered the intro in some detail and I feel they spoiled a few of the jokes relating to the plot. As someone pointed out in an earlier post they're just discussing games and stuff they have enjoyed so some things are always going to be spoiled depending on your sensitivity.

It was good in that it was reasonably restrained at two hours for a change. Also Austin didn't take them on so many 'deep dives' on whatever articles he happened to read that week! I know they're still finding their feet but I think the Bombcast still offers better insight and coverage on the news front.

While Jeff was being awfully stubborn Brad seems to be going through some shit in his personal life which seems to colour a lot of his input lately. Vinny's shows are great though and Patrick really adds to them with his news segment.

The Trouble with Nintendo. A TL;DR topic.

GBA games in their native form might not be appropriate for a phone but I think he does have a point. Dumbed down touch screen adaptations of future Wii U or 3DS games could be useful to promote the console editions and raise awareness and relevancy of the brands. iPhone Wario Ware could be great also, it's just a case of finding to best games that fit on that platform.

    Is "Game" finished?

I have had my Portapro's break on me three times now but they come with a lifetime warranty and they replace them pretty quick! My latest pair has a different shaped jack so maybe they'll last longer this time. They sound nice and bassy and the 80s styling is the perfect counter to Beats!
