Just picked up my reservation from Argos, probably no chance to try it until about 8 tonight though!

Just a heads up, I preordered a 64GB from Amazon on the 9th with today being listed as the delivery day and they still haven't dispatched it, I just spoke to customer services and they said they are "temporarily out of stock" so it doesn't look like i am getting it from them today. If anybody else doesn't have dispatch notification you may also be being disappointed today, I've managed to reserve one at Argos for collection so there may still be stock there.

All the info I have read says it doesn't have a micro sd slot? :S

I'm just concerned that maybe in a year or so's time games won't be so tiny and space becomes more of a concern. I have space issues with my 500GB PS4 as it is, though I can at least plug an external HD into that which you can't with the quest.

Amazon have put more 64GB Quest's up for preorder if anyone was looking for one, I just ordered a one few minutes ago but still debating 128GB vs 64GB in my head!
  6. I've just had the thought that with the working cartridge flap it might be quite fun (or cash milking on Sega's part!) if you could buy a 32X mini which plugged in the top and added a set of 32X games.
  7. The US version of this lists the included Castlevania game as "Bloodlines": http://genesismini.sega.com/ while the UK version lists it as "The New Generation": http://megadrivemini.sega.com/ I don't know much about that game, but wikipedia says that "The new generation" was a censored version that was released in Europe...I hope that doesn't mean we are getting the PAL versions of things...50hz and all...

    Super Nintendo Appreciation Thread

There is more text than in Super Mario Bros or World but you should be able get through the game ok. There are instruction boxes whenever a new mechanic is introduced which make up the bulk of the text so maybe reading an overview of the basic mechanics (egg laying/throwing) on gamefaqs should negate any issues you might have in understanding what to do. I've played through the first few worlds of the super famicom version recently and had no real issues understanding what was going on.

    Samurai Spirits/Shodown - 2019

The in game graphics look great, this is one of the two games I'm most looking forward to this year (Link's Awakening being the other)!

    Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Not that the series is on a Nintendo platform (is that a requirement for Smash characters?) but I'd love to see Kiryu and Majima from Yakuza in the lineup and think they could play quite well.

The game was surprisingly fun too. :p

    Nintendo Switch

I've given it a bash over the last couple of days and was surprised how sore my arms were this morning! It seems pretty decent.

    PlayStation Classic

Wow, so they probably actually put some extra work in to make it worse!

I've joined the cancelled preorder club, it was the PAL games running at 50hz that was final straw for me. I was holding out hope that they would just force them to run at 60hz but that doesn't seem to be the case.

    Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

I spoke to the Nintendo stores customer services earlier, the collectors edition bundles are still being shipped out on time, it's just the stand alone adapters they are not supplying. I'm a bit annoyed as i preordered the adapter before the collectors bundles were available and now they are sold out on the store. I've cancelled the preorder for the adapter and the two controllers I had with them. I assume by "production issues" they just mean Nintendo UK haven't ordered/been given the stock or they've decide to use the stock for the collectors editions.
