    Monster Hunter: World

Ended up going with the insect glaive which I'm really enjoying. I want to get into them all eventually but think I'll go for a secondary ranged weapon as well, something like the bow or gun to add into the mix.

    Monster Hunter: World

Amazing game, put around 30 hours into it so far and feels like I've barely scratched the surface. Game could do with more optimisation and doesn't feel quite there yet. But then I'm on a GTX 970 and i5 2500k (which is beneath the minimum spec) so whilst I'm hoping to upgrade by the end of the year i'll make do for now. I also get that issue where I keep seeing pop ups of friends going into and out the game but it seems like an issue with the game itself I'm guessing. I'm curious as to what the QOL changes are in this compared to say the older ones. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate comes out at the end of August and I'm certainly tempted by it in the future. (saying that with this, Kiwami 2 and Fist Of The North Star by the end of the year who's got time!)

    All things Yakuza!

Three more days to the PC version of Yakuza 0 unlocking! I'm more excited about Kiwami 2 in August but by fuck will I for sure replay this on PC.

ONRUSH - A New Breed of Arcade Action

Shit I didn't realise it had sold that badly. I was waiting for the PC release after loving the beta but fuck knows if that'll happen now. Regardless that's nothing compared to folks losing their jobs. That's a really shitty fucking response from Codemasters though, they need a slap for that. Closing the majority of a studio is 'normal business after a project wraps' ? Get tae fuck.

    Resident Evil 4 HD pack

Cris and Albert started working on this in Feb 2014 so have been working on it for nearly 4.5 years at this point. Albert actually lives in Spain if I recall correctly so it's easier for him to go to the texture sources (that they can find) and take photos. I actually remember Cris starting the thread for this at the beginning over on Neogaf and all he got was "why bother, spend your time doing something else", "Yeah right!" etc and now over 4 years later he's having the last laugh. Absolutely phenomenal work so far and what I love is how close they are trying to stay to the original sources as possible. Of course it's always going to be a little different just due to the nature of the work but this is a true labour of love. Not some of those shitty mods where they don't seem to even remotely respect the game they're moddings original inspirations etc.

    Aliens: Colonial Marines by Gearbox

It contributed to killing off Timegate Studios as well which is something I always found sad, mostly because I have a really soft spot for the Section 8 games.

    Wreckfest - Bugbear (IBM Compatibles)

It should be noted that Bugbear didn't do any Flatouts after 2/Ultimate Carnage so the latest Flatouts have nothing to do with them. The last game they did before Wreckfest was the, IMO, criminally underrated Ridge Racer Unbounded (which is a terrible Ridge Racer game but a fantastic Bugbear game). Definitely want to pick up Wreckfest sometime soon, looks fantastic.

Ys VIII - Lacrimosa of Dana

Yeah I noticed it's been getting more and more patches and getting gradually better. Part of me is tempted to get it second hand for the PS4 as quite frankly NISAs bullshit in general has put me right off. I dread to think if they get their hands on any other Falcom games, especially the more text heavy ones.

Ys VIII - Lacrimosa of Dana

Dying to play it as I absolutely love the Ys series but waiting for NISA to unfuck the PC version before buying. Real shame that they got it instead of XSeed.

    All things Yakuza!

The thing I love about the Yakuza games is if you like story there's a fantastic crime story in there with drama, emotion, great stories etc but a fuckload of gameplay as well. Never skimps on the gameplay or story, it's bloody marvellous.

    E3 2018: Playstation Conference - NO FFVII

I agree but with it usually being the male hero saving the damsel in distress or getting revenge for his murdered wife and kids, it would be at least something different in that regard. Regardless I don't expect it to be that really, I'm probably wrong.

    E3 2018: Playstation Conference - NO FFVII

That girlfriend is not surviving in TLOU 2, I smell a revenge story but with Ellie looking to kill whoever kills her gf (maybe the Fireflies ?)

    Vampyr - It's a vAAmpire game

If you want to give yourself as much XP as you want (and lets say you're in the middle of a no kill run and want a bit of an advantage or helping hand) then there's a hidden cheat in the game. Go to the skills screen and go into a skill, hold down O and P and xp starts going up that you can spend. You can do this on PC and console, you just need to plug a keyboard into the PS4/XB1
  15. ok so just under a year later this gets announced for release in the North America/Europe for 2nd October this year Western title is Fist Of The North Star - Lost Paradise. Dual audio, first time in ages a Yakuza team game has been dubbed in english but the japanese audio is also present. Now just give me that Kiryu DLC as well please. Game also has extra gore not present in the japanese version.
