  1. Hey guys, sorry for the long silence. As I'm back home for the week, I figure I owe everyone an explanation. I decided to use the move as an attempt to move away from posting so much on forums. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the place, but during my time away, I managed to get a lot more done and become of use to society. I'll def be back for E3 with updates from all the conferences, etc but daily updates are out for the foreseeable future. Sorry for letting everyone dow...

I think we've all been there to some degree. You started an insane amount of threads and packed each of them with up to the minute information. It's not something I think anyone could have expected you to keep up indefinitely, so I really wouldn't feel any pressure to return to all that.

Just kick back and post on stuff that interests you, and enjoy the place for what it is. :) Besides, Vemsie's doing a pretty good Sarge impersonation these days, lol

Ok Sarge that's enough. Come back now. Nobody knows anything anymore. :(

  3. Ah, excellent. I'll give those a try. Thanks.
  4. Loving this so far, but I have two complaints. There doesn't appear to be an option to remove an custom waypoint and the misc quests aren't handled well at all. No additional info is given, so you're looking at what quickly becomes a relatively long list of random quests with no info on what to do, where to go or what the requirements are to complete said quest. Other than those complaints, it's a cracking game.
  5. So a friend watched this last night and thought it was decent enough. They changed a few minor details James Marsden is apparently really good but more surprisingly, Kate Bosworth is equally impressive as Amy. I doubt I'll be watching it until it hits BR, but based on what he told me, it's the not train-wreck we all thought it would be.

  7. That's about it, most of the main sites have posted their reviews, just waiting on Gamespot and Eurogamer.

  10. That does look surprisingly good. And it looks like a proper trailer for T.H.G will be hitting on Monday. Can't wait.
  11. Teaser (and I do mean teaser) http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-vga-alan-wake/723797 Oh man, it's going to be a long, long wait.
  12. Release date is Jan 10th, http://www.computerandvideogames.com/325742/gotham-city-imposters-dated/
  13. HOLY SHIT!!! :OMG: Unfortunately, he'll only be available in MP.
  14. Comparison is suspect. There's a known texture streaming issue with regards to the 360 version, which is rumoured to be fixed by a patch that's due tomorrow. (or may have already been released) Anyway, only a few hours left till I finally have this. Can't wait until tomorrow.
  15. I'm sure it's already been mentioned by Morrius (the dastardly swine, who does he think he is trying to take my place. There can only ever be one SARGE, Morrius. Only one! ), but the review embargo ends at 1pm today. I get to play this for one day before I have to pack up the 360. Would be it wrong to immediately unpack the 360 and start playing and leave the rest of the unpacking to the GF? ...

  18. Backlog after SoA promo. I suppose a G.F promo or something similar as Steve mentions is also possible, but I have a feeling the multiple releases last month were down to the backlog created by the SoA promo.
  19. I wish I had the time to put something like together. It really is quite impressive, but the free time I have doesn't really allow for me to do something as comprehensive and detailed as that. It's only going to get worse next week as we're moving, so I'll be off the forum until we're settled, which could be a good few weeks.

  22. Good grief, Anyway, GI reviewed this and gave it a 9. Their only complaint is that they've removed some of the activities. (Fuzz, Septic Avenger, Fight Club, Demolition Club, and Crowd Control) Fuzz, Septic and Demo gone. Why, THQ, WHY????!?!?!?!
  23. Is it just me or is the campaign a lot shorter than MW2? I enjoyed it, the set-pieces were all great, the way they tied up the story was well done, but it felt quite a bit shorter in comparison to MW2 (but it's been a while since I last played MW2, so maybe I'm mistaken). Anyway, I thought it was a good campaign and in a nice change from previous MW games, there were few (if any) choke-points. Actually, now that I think about, that might be why it felt shorter, I didn't die nearly as much as I did in previous MW games. 4/5 for the campaign. Not much of an online player, so I'll be taking
