  1. Selling a digital copy of FIFA 20 (PS4) in off topic if anyone fancied it.
  2. Nah, the MK2 is incredible. It's got a rhythmic reload and kick back you have to tame. That's the trade off for likely one of the most powerful guns in the game.
  3. Has anyone trying the MK2 Marksman Rifle? Christ, that thing is amazing in Hardcore Mode. I was using the FAL religiously until I unlocked that. It's got a slower fire rate and more kick but if you can tame those traits, it's incredible in mid-long range 1v1 - near enough every impact is 1-hit kill. Slowly levelling up my way to 47 in order to get the SCAR, tried that in single player and loved it. Felt like a fully automatic desert eagle.
  4. I only started going to the cinema alone recently and same as mentioned here, I don't find it weird at all. No distractions and no pestering from others. I lived in Paris for a short while and it helped pass the time when I was there. Now, there's a Vue a stone's throw away from work and a bunch of decent films came out recently, I've wandered along and thoroughly enjoyed it.
  5. The lead designer IS ex-Naughty Dog.
  6. Friday night @Dave White matey? It's almost become a yearly ritual... @RickyDVT??
  7. Wishful thinking for the Boro to finish in the top 10 at moment. I still think we're too good to go down but we're making a mountain out of a molehill with each passing match.
  8. Thursday night clubs? Like old times.
  9. Double bump. I've got a favour to ask please folks... Would anybody on Xbox Game Pass fancy getting together for a few rounds of multiplayer? I just need to capture some footage and to get a feel for the online game mode. Much appreciated in advance if anyone can help!
  10. Not a lot of love for this? It's one of the best games I've played this year. The gunplay is excellent, the emphasis on a variety of skills is great and time pressure on top of that is really exhilierating too.
  11. Yeah the Joker is the noticeably the weakest of an extremely strong bunch. Can't really justify the £35 investment for the pack still though, £20 is about the sweet spot for me.
  12. Yeah I was gunna post that. I'm happy if it makes the perfect platformer even more special.
  13. Ah that's cool, no worries cheers fellas.
  14. Quick question about EA Access, not sure if anyone uses it? Will FIFA 20 be included within that from launch on PS4? If so, I imagine it's more cost effective to get that subscription than buying FIFA outright?
  15. Yeah I think I'm going to get back into NHL, haven't played since '17. Downloading now, I should be game for it.
  16. I've fallen out of love with Boro a little bit (similarly with FIFA too)... We've gone from a resilient team that was almost always the bridemaid, to something almost unrecognisable within the space of 5 seasons. The appointments of Monk, Pulis and Woodgate underwhelmed me, but I've enjoyed the interviews from Woody so far and surely we can't do worse than giving the academy players a crack. It pains me to hear that Randolph is considered the strongest player in the team, and one of the best keepers' in the league, when he was at fault for almost a dozen gaffs within his first season between the sticks. Which certainly doesn't help when you had a £15m waste of space up leading the line. I think it's safe to say though that the days of mid-table Premier League medicority are well behind us and, if we're not careful, challenging for the play-offs may soon be a pipe dream as well. I reckon a top-10 finish with a push for an outside play-off spot, and the emergence of half a dozen promising youngsters knocking at the door of the first team ready for a stronger challenge in 2020/21. I just hope we don't "do a Leeds" and sell all of the potential talent just as a new crop comes through.
  17. Any of you fancy setting up a game dev discord? I'm doing a fair chunk of stuff in UE4 too but would be good to share ideas and chat whilst doing so.
  18. I'm all over this too, drop me a holla!
  19. How did you find it @joffocakes? MK9 was near impossible as you had to spend 24 hours, at least, with every character.
  20. If anyone fancies a few bouts, feel free to add me on PSN: "smithstock". I've played the franchise a decent amount of the last few iterations but I've yet to fully sink the time into a character on this - I've finished story mode, training and am now going through the arcade tower to finish each character backstory and mop up a few trophies. Quite liking Scorpion in this version but I've used Sub-Zero a lot in the past so I probably won't stray too far from those guys, however, I've really enjoyed playing as Jax. He seems to be one of the easiest characters to pick up outside of Liu Kang.
  21. My thoughts, just in case @Theholyhogg, @PeteBrant and @DC Lemon were thinking of investing... It's completely and utterly lifeless, devoid of personality and lacking in any real charisma. It comes across that way from the outside and it's actually worse whilst playing; the commentary is stale and the graphics are really mediocre too. Gameplay wise, I'm not a fan of the mechanics but I can understand why people like them. I much prefer the timing based system of EG, and I even struggled to get to grips with that after the change from the Vita version. If there was an alternative mode or system, I might have invested more time getting used to it - I'm not a huge fan of analogue or gauging based mechanics outside of Trials or Worms. Everything else seems to be par for the course (pun intended) lots of customisation and level editing features but ultimately locked behind game modes that are neither enticing or engaging to play which is a shame because the Tour is a big draw for me. Everybody's Golf though, still, is not only the best golf game going but is one of the best sports games I've played this generation - up there with Rocket League. It's a shame then, that the PGA license is actually even less of a draw for me, given that everything in EG feels tactile and satisfying - it just ultimately lacked features and post launch support.
  22. Too true. As much I'd love to see Derby throw a wobbler, we still need a win and we'll get tanked by whoever we would have to face next. I'm optimistic, but certainly if won't be deserved if we do pull off a miracle. #KarankaIn
  23. Haven't played it yet man, I have my reservations. It looks devoid of any kind of personality and the gameplay doesn't look as refined as EG, that being said, I'll jump in for around the £15 mark. Hit me up if you do too! EDIT: Currently £16 at Base.com!
  24. Yeah UE4 is great, how are you finding it all around? Do you mind if I ask which course you're involved in?
